Necklace, Shoes & Clutch: Zara; Dress: Fab'rik;
I went for a girlfriend's birthday dinner last Friday and had to share the outfit I wore that evening with you. I added two of my most favorite buys this season to this dress - the Eagle necklace and the neutral color chain strap shoes. I have defi gotten my money's worth out of both these items as I have worn them like crazy - I add them to every possible outfit. You have no idea how many compliments I have received for this necklace (even when I have worn it with just a plain t-shirt and jeans). These pics were taken in a span of 5 mins as I was way behind schedule on everything but was determined to share this.

Vest and Cuffs: Vintage; Jeans: Citizens of Humanity; Top: Pins and Needles; Shoes: Zara; Bag: Balenciaga; Sunglasses: Ray Ban
Sorry everyone for the gap between posts, I had a lot going on and was unable to post. I have tons of pictures to share with you and I will be posting all of them shortly. With the weather changing, I have been layering clothes and mixing prints and having a lot of fun doing that. Studs and metal were so huge last season and continue to be big this season as well and I have collected a lot (believe me a lot and you will see them all) of those pieces. I have had this vest forever and have really gotten my money's worth - I have worn this layered over a dress, over a white t-shirt, black shirt etc - this here is my newest fave combo with a printed top. Enjoying this weather before it gets real cold :)

I am so mesmerized with this collection that I had to share it with you. Sabyasachi ( fondly known as Sabya) is one of the most talented designers in India. His collections have been very different from most of the other Indian designers and he always manages a beautiful amalgamation of old and new and eastern and western influences. This is his most recent collection and he has added accessories to his line in the form of jeweled clutches, headbands and shoes. I am absolutely lusting after the ensemble in the first picture...

(1) I saw this ad in a magazine and thought it was real interesting (2) Love all three of these Chanel bags - can I have them all???? (3) Love this Dry Shampoo - it was great during my 4 day hike to Machu Pichu - the fact that is is colored is it's best feature - I don't like the white powdery stuff in my hair from other dry shampoo's (4) I love everything embellished - so to me this Prada dress is just divine!!!

Skirt, Shoes & Necklace: Zara; Top & Bag: H&M; Sunglasses: Ray Bans
I warned you that I am going through a serious statement necklace phase - so let me present this next one to you. What I love about this one is the combo - the big heirloom jewel - kind of pendant and the neon orange cord. It is classic but contemporary!!!!
I bought this quilted leather skirt right in the middle of summer and have been waiting to wear it - obviously I could not wait long enough. I wore it even though the temps are still in the 80's :) Also I gave my open toe shoes a break and decided to wear my "smoking slippers"- the slippers being another one of my summer buys - but hey I am transitioning............

I am sooooo in love with these mini skirts from Balenciaga. They are just so beautiful. If I had to pick between the two - I would pick the red one. Now the hunt/chase begins to try and find that skirt in my size. What do you think of the skirts???
